Love, Actually
If you could only have one sure thing in life, what would you choose?
Would you choose to have money? Love? A career?
By making this choice, I'm not saying that you wouldn't end up having the others as well, they may just not turn out the way you wanted them.
Basically, what comes first on your list?
I started thinking about this at the same time I was wondering what the most googled word was.
In 2009, it was money.
In 2010, it was Love.
What's up with the change of heart? Certainly it's not our unemployment rates.
Love. It's primal. Babies grow to know the feeling of love for their mothers almost instantly.
I consider myself a survivor. I have battled Cancer. I have birthed two children under extreme conditions. I have come close to loosing my home.
Throughout it I have been loved, and I have loved.
The love, or lack of love makes up the people we are. We rise above and strive to be better or we bathe in the affections of those around us. There is nothing greater than unconditional love.
I would choose love. I would fight for it. I tell me children every day that I love them. I tell my husband every day that I love him, and I thank him when he tells me.
Love completes me.
"Love… What is love? Love is to love someone for who they are, who they were, and who they will be. " Chris Moore
